Renting a home in Nigeria has too often meant guesswork, agents you cannot verify, and money sent before you have seen anything real. We think booking a stay should feel as certain as arriving home.

How Kovaus works
Four steps, and you are not charged for the first three.
Search and request
Filter by city, area, dates and budget, then send a free request. You are not charged to ask, and your request does not reserve the dates.
The host confirms
A host checks the dates are genuinely free and accepts. More than one guest can ask, so hosts choose rather than being locked into whoever clicked first.
You pay, and it is booked
Only now do you pay, securely and within your booking window. The dates become yours. If you do not pay in time, they are released again.
Arrive and settle in
You get check-in details and the host contact, walk in, and settle into a space that has been checked against what was advertised.
Our story
Built by people tired of the guessing game
Kovaus started with a familiar frustration: finding a shortlet in Nigeria meant trusting photographs you could not verify and sending money to people you had never met. Sometimes the dates were already gone. Sometimes the flat was a different one, or the same one three years and one flood ago.
The problem was not that hosts are dishonest - most are not. It was that the whole transaction ran on trust with nothing underneath it. So we changed the order of events. On Kovaus you request first and pay afterwards, once a human being has confirmed the place is free and someone from Kovaus has checked it is real.
A product of Centuria Solutions, made in Nigeria, for the way Nigerians actually travel and host. Today we are in public beta, growing city by city, toward the standard renting should have had all along.
We are still early, and we are saying so plainly.
Kovaus is live and real bookings are happening, but we are onboarding our first hosts city by city. The catalogue is still growing and some things will change as we learn.
It also means the people using Kovaus now have an unusual amount of influence over what it becomes. If something is broken, awkward, or missing, we would genuinely like to hear it.

What we check
We would rather show you the truth about a property than promise you it is wonderful. Those are different things, and only one of them is ours to give.
Inspected in person
A listing does not go live on a host’s word alone. Someone from Kovaus visits and checks the property matches what is being advertised.
Seen properly, not staged
Where we have captured a 360 walkthrough, you can look around the whole place yourself rather than trusting four flattering photographs.
Hosts stay accountable
We track how often hosts respond, accept, and cancel after accepting. Patterns show up over time, and they matter.
Who runs Kovaus
Kovaus is a product of Centuria Solutions LTD (RC: 7283090), a company registered in Nigeria.
Payments are processed by a licensed Nigerian payment provider, which splits each payment and settles the host's share directly to their own account. Kovaus does not hold, control, or take custody of guest funds at any point, and does not operate a wallet on a host's behalf. The detail is set out in our Terms of Service.
